Refund Policy

Last updated: 11 June 2026 · Effective: 11 June 2026

Summary: The Report is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase. Because you can see the free audit result before buying, the Report is non-refundable once accessed \u2014 except for technical failures on our end or where required by Australian Consumer Law.

1. Overview

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on FairLanding (fairlanding.com.au), operated by Elvyn Mudaliar (ABN 34 583 311 963). All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD). This policy is subject to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL, Competition and Consumer Act 2010, Schedule 2), which provides consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded.

2. The Report — one-time purchase ($49.99 AUD)

The Report is a digital information product. Upon completing payment, the Report is immediately generated and made available for download. By purchasing the Report, you acknowledge that: (a) you have already seen the free wage audit result, including whether underpayment was detected, before purchasing; (b) the Report is delivered in full at the moment of purchase and download; (c) the Report contains detailed shortfall figures, penalty rate breakdowns, a superannuation audit, and a pre-filled complaint letter based on the data you entered into the wage audit tool; (d) the accuracy of the Report depends on the accuracy of the data you entered. Because the Report is a digital product delivered immediately and in full, it is non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, except in the circumstances listed in clause 4.

3. Pro subscriptions — monthly and annual

Pro Monthly ($24.99 AUD/month) and Pro Annual ($179.99 AUD/year) subscriptions provide ongoing access to FairLanding’s premium features. Subscriptions renew automatically. You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain full access until that date. We do not provide prorated refunds for unused days within a billing period, except where required by Australian Consumer Law. If you cancel a Pro Annual subscription within 7 days of purchase and have not made significant use of the service, you may request a refund by emailing hello@fairlanding.com.au.

4. When we will issue a refund

We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances: (a) Technical failure — the Report failed to generate or could not be downloaded due to a verified fault on our platform, and we are unable to resolve the issue within 48 hours of your report; (b) Material platform error — the Report contained a significant calculation error caused by a bug in our platform (not due to incorrect data entered by you); (c) Duplicate charge — you were charged more than once for the same purchase due to a payment processing error; (d) Australian Consumer Law — a statutory consumer guarantee applies and has not been met. Refund requests must be submitted to hello@fairlanding.com.au within 7 days of purchase, with your account email, order details, and a description of the issue. We will assess your request within 5 business days.

5. When we will not issue a refund

We will not issue refunds in the following circumstances: (a) You have downloaded or accessed the Report and the content is as described; (b) You entered incorrect data into the wage audit tool and the Report reflects that data; (c) You changed your mind after purchase; (d) You claim the Report did not find underpayment — a compliant result is a valid result; (e) You purchased a subscription and used it for the billing period; (f) More than 7 days have passed since purchase. These exclusions do not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

6. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Refunds are processed via Stripe. FairLanding is not responsible for delays caused by your bank or card issuer. You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed.

7. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement for a major failure of a consumer guarantee. You are also entitled to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. For information about your consumer rights, visit the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) at accc.gov.au or call 1300 302 502.
